Ohio Valley Medical Center and East Ohio Regional Hospital are community-oriented hospitals, serving the Ohio Valley area for over 100 years. OVMC and EORH are proud to offer board-certified emergency services on both sides of the Ohio Valley River, as well as cardiac care, cancer care, physical and occupational therapy, retail pharmacy, sleep clinics, sports medicine, and more.

Ohio Valley Medical Center

Ohio Valley Medical Center is a 200-bed health care facility located in the heart of downtown Wheeling, West Virginia. While the building has been remodeled and greatly expanded throughout the years, the architecture dates back to the Ohio Valley General Hospital School of Nursing that was established on the campus of OVGH in 1892 as the first school of nursing in the state of West Virginia.

In keeping with the tradition of education, OVMC offers residences in internal medicine, emergency medicine, and internal/emergency medicine. To learn more about OVMC’s residency program, click here.

OVMC is proud to offer the only mental health services in the area working in conjunction with Robert C. Byrd Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health Center and Hillcrest Behavioral Health Services catering to both children and adults.

East Ohio Regional Hospital

East Ohio Regional Hospital is a 140-bed health care facility located in downtown Martins Ferry, Ohio. With the growth of programs and services, EORH works in conjunction with the East Ohio Medical Office Building and outpatient services centers. EORH is home to the federally funded Respiratory and Occupational Black Lung Clinic as well as a certified skilled/rehabilitation unit.
