This summer, students from Wheeling Jesuit University’s Circle K International group donated over 50 Linus blankets to the BirthPlace at East Ohio Regional Hospital. The donated Linus blankets – of all sizes and colors – included crocheted and popular no-tie fleece security blankets similar to the blue blanket carried by the famous Charles Shultz Peanuts character. These blankets made their way home with new families and new arrivals from across the Ohio Valley. Pictured from left to right are Sierra Moore, Wheeling Jesuit University student and Circle K International member, and Lynette DeBertrand, nurse manager of the BirthPlace at EORH.
