OVMC Pathologist Collaborates on High­Level Research

​Shveta Hooda, M.D., pathologist at Ohio Valley Medical Center and co­director cytopathology, recently collaborated on high level research at Ohio State University and University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Hooda is actively involved in various research projects and recently published two studies on breast and thyroid pathology in renowned journals like Annals of Diagnostic Pathology and Acta Cytologica. Dr. Hooda is also working on several projects at the University of Pittsburgh, studying chemo prevention in animal models of breast and prostate carcinoma. In addition to her research, Dr. Hooda serves on the editorial board of Diagnostic Pathology and is a reviewer for various nationally and internationally renowned pathology journals.
