Osteopathic Medicine Residency Programs
Ohio Valley Medical Center's Graduate medical Education program offers three osteopathic medicine residency tracks - internal medicine residency, emergency medicine residency and a combined internal/emergency medicine program. All osteopathic residents train side-by-side on an equal basis with their colleagues while gaining the additional skills unique to osteopathic medicine. Our curriculums include inpatient rotations balanced by rotations with physicians in their offices. Our rotation schedules for osteopathic residents allowing for additional emphasis in osteopathic principles and practice.
Electives
Students may choose to participate in various offered electives including emergency medicine, internal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, general surgery, cardiology, gastroenterology, infections diseases, hematology/oncology, nephrology, pumonary disease, pediatrics, endocrinology/metabolism studies, allergy and immunology as well as anesthesia.
