Physical and Occupational Therapy Services - Robert Ullum
Bob has worked as an Outpatient Physical Therapy Manager for OVHS&E for a year. However, he is no stranger to Physical Therapy and has been treating since 1981.
Bob is a graduate of John Marshall in 1976 where he focused his studies in science. It was very apparent to Bob that he wanted to start a career in Physical Therapy. At the time, West Virginia University was the only school in the state that had a Physical Therapy program. Bob was one out of 18 students accepted into the program. Bob proudly graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy in 1981. In Bob’s time at West Virginia University he was honored to be selected as the Outstanding Student Clinician Award for his class as selected by his academic and clinical instructors.
In 1997, Bob passed the Sports Certified Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Services.
Bob has been a Marshall County resident his entire life, having grown up in McMechen. He is the son of a stay at home mother and his father was a steelworker for Wheeling Pittsburgh-Beech Bottom Plant. He was also a proud veteran of WW II, having served in the United States Air Force.
Bob has worked his entire career in Marshall and Ohio Counties serving his friends and neighbors of the communities. Bob most enjoys treating disciplines of orthopedics and sports related injuries, but does not limit his practice to the above.
Bob has been married to his wife Tammy since 1988 and they have a son Colby. He currently resides in Moundsville.
