Named EORH Interim Chief Nursing Officer


Lisa Fordyce has been named Interim Chief Nursing Officer at East Ohio Regional Hospital effective January 7, 20


Ms. Fordyce has been at OVMC-EORH for the past year as the Director of Education and Professional Development. Her former positions include Interim Director of Surgical Services at UnityPoint Health Pekin, Pekin Hospital in Illinois and Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma, AL.  Prior to those appointments, Ms. Fordyce was Director of Surgical Services, Infusion Therapy, and Dialysis at Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan, WV and at Genesis HealthCare System in Zanesville, OH.


Ms. Fordyce received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia, Master of Science in Health Care Administration from Bellevue University, Omaha, Nebraska, and Master of Science in Nursing-Education from Western Governors University, Salt Lake City, Utah.  She holds certifications in Nurse Operating Room, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Surgical Technologist, and Registered Central Service Technician.


Other associations Ms. Fordyce is a member of include the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN), Association of Surgical Technology (AST), International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM), and the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM)
